Christmas officially arrives in Adelaide with the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, one of South Australia’s most-loved traditions and the largest public parade in the Southern Hemisphere.

Returning on Saturday 14 November 2026, the streets of Adelaide will come alive with colourful floats, marching bands, dancers, clowns, elves and thousands of performers before the much-anticipated arrival of Father Christmas. The Pageant has been part of Adelaide’s Christmas celebrations since 1933 and continues to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators into the city each year.
