Yes! When you book directly with us, you have up until 24 hours before your arrival date to cancel or change the booking. Third-party website bookings are subject to different rules.

Our team will contact you 24–48 hours before arrival to confirm your expected check-in time. If you plan to arrive after reception has closed, we will arrange access to a secure lockbox containing your room key.
Once your arrival time has been confirmed, you will receive the lockbox location, access code and instructions. If you experience any difficulties accessing the lockbox, a security contact number is displayed at each entrance for assistance.
The minimum check-in age at Toms Court Hotel is 18. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
This policy applies to the primary guest checking in and signing for the room — solo travelers or groups made up entirely of guests under 18 won't be able to check in without an accompanying adult.

Yes, Toms Court Hotel has two elevators, both accessible from the ground floor, servicing guest rooms throughout the property.
Standard and Superior rooms are fit for 2 people. Our King, Junior and Deluxe suites can fit up to 4 people with the set up of their sofa-bed.
Room size increases across the range from Standard through to Junior Suite. Standard and Superior rooms suit up to 2 guests, while Deluxe and Junior Suites fit up to 4 guests with a sofa-bed set-up and include an in-room laundry and dryer.
Rooms are available with either an Adelaide Hills view or a sea view, though not every room has a view or a balcony — let us know your preference when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate it, subject to availability.
Our Standard Twin and Standard Queen rooms are serviced daily.
To ensure you have a comfortable stay, Standard and Superior rooms can only allow 2 people. You can fit up to 4 people in the Deluxe and Junior Suites by requesting a sofa-bed set-up.
Yes, Toms Court Hotel offers connecting rooms, ideal for families or groups travelling together who want separate spaces with easy access between them.
Connecting rooms are subject to availability, so we'd recommend requesting this at the time of booking rather than on arrival to give us the best chance of allocating them together.
Yes, Toms Court Hotel provides cots for $25 per night, subject to availability.
Cots can be added directly during the booking process when you book through our website — simply select the cot option at checkout. Booking direct makes it easier for us to guarantee and allocate a cot for your stay, so we'd recommend requesting one at the time of booking rather than on arrival.

Yes, our Junior Suites and Deluxe Suites have a laundry and dryer in the room. For Standard and Superior rooms, the hotel also offers dry cleaning services with the best companies in Adelaide for an extra fee.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, however, we are within walking distance from the Glenelg Beach tram line.
The hotel does not have a gym; however, we are within walking distance of Pilates and Yoga studios.

Yes. Toms Court Hotel offers an on-site boardroom ideal for small meetings, with Wi-Fi and screen access. Catering can be arranged.
While we don't currently offer breakfast on-site, we have partnered with Seoul Sisters on Halifax Street to provide a delicious breakfast option for our guests! You can enjoy breakfast for just $25 per person. Simply visit our reception to obtain your breakfast voucher.
The hotel does not have a restaurant or room service. We encourage you to explore nearby dining options in China Town, Halifax Street, and Adelaide Central Market. You can also order food delivery to our reception and we'll hold it for you.
We have a selection of South Australian wine, beer, and gin available for purchase at reception.
Friends of Toms is our free loyalty program for guests who book direct — no sign-up page, no password, and no membership card. It gets you a reduced nightly rate on every room type, priority on room requests like a higher floor or a quieter side, early check-in where possible, and direct messaging with the front desk team on King William Street instead of a call centre.
There's nothing to join in advance. Search your dates on our website and the Friends of Toms rate appears right next to the public rate — tick it and it's yours.

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for all our guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy throughout our hotel premises, including all guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
Guests found violating this policy may incur a cleaning fee to cover the cost of restoring the room to a smoke-free condition.
Non-registered guests (visitors) are not permitted on the premises after 10pm. Guests found contravening this policy may be evicted from the property, and a $150 fee will be charged to the room for any excessive noise complaints.

Toms Court Hotel (338 King William St, Adelaide CBD) is approximately 7km from Adelaide Airport (ADL), with a typical drive time of 8–10 minutes in normal traffic. A taxi or rideshare between the two costs roughly $18–$24 AUD.
The fastest option is a taxi or rideshare (Uber, Ola, DiDi), taking around 8–10 minutes outside peak hours. If you'd rather use public transport, the JetBus (J1) runs direct from the airport terminal into the city along King William Street, with a stop within a short walk of the hotel — the trip takes approximately 20–25 minutes.
Adelaide Railway Station sits at the northern end of King William Street, approximately 1km from the hotel — around a 10–12 minute walk, or a short tram ride along the same street the hotel is on.
Yes. Toms Court Hotel is directly on the King William Street tram line, one of Adelaide's main transport corridors — the free City Connector service and the Glenelg tram both run past the hotel, making it easy to reach the railway station, Rundle Mall, Victoria Square, and Glenelg Beach without a car.

Adelaide Oval is approximately 1.5km from the hotel, around an 18–20 minute walk through the parklands, or a 5-minute taxi/rideshare on event days when parking near the ground is limited.
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is approximately 3km from the hotel. The tram line that runs past the hotel now extends all the way to the Entertainment Centre via Port Road, making it a direct, no-transfer trip of around 15–20 minutes. Driving or taking a taxi takes roughly 10 minutes.
