WOMADelaide is held in Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla, immediately beside the Adelaide Botanic Garden and just outside the Adelaide CBD. Festival entry is traditionally available via the Frome Road and Hackney Road entrances.

No. WOMADelaide offers four-day, three-day and single-day ticket options, so you can choose how much of the festival you want to experience.
If you are travelling to Adelaide specifically for WOMADelaide, staying for several days gives you much more time to explore different stages and discover artists beyond the ones you originally came to see.

There are free public transport options within Adelaide’s CBD, including the City Connector bus and portions of Adelaide’s tram network.
The free City Connector services travel to Adelaide Botanic Gardens, and Adelaide’s free tram network also includes the Botanic Gardens stop.
This makes staying centrally particularly convenient if you want to avoid driving to the festival.

Yes. Pass-outs are available, so you can leave the festival and return later that day. Just make sure you scan out when leaving and scan back in when you return.
This can be handy if you are staying in the CBD and want to return to your hotel for a break before heading back for the evening performances.
